This is it, he thinks. Killua knows it’s his first mission by himself and he doesn’t want to screw things up before things actually start to run out of control. He thinks that as long as he has the right mindset, he’s able to pull off whatever nature has up its sleeve. With a little bit of luck, hopefully everything runs smoothly but for some reason, his gut instinct tells him otherwise. He hopes it’s just the weather that’s messing with him, but he knows deep down that something or if not someone, is hell-bent on making his life miserable for the duration of his mission. Honestly, at this point he just hopes nothing goes wrong.

It’s when he’s meeting his client for the first time does he realize what his gut was trying to warn him about. The glimpse of red hair throws him off at first and he dismisses the idea that it might be a certain clown that he’s acquainted with but the ominous aura has the hairs standing on his arms in a fit of discomfort. Killua silently prays that it’s not who he thinks it is and he really hopes that he’s not working with said man. But ever since his parting with Gon, his luck has somewhat diminished; it’s mind boggling to think about the difference between his best friend and his brother sister. But that’s the least of his worries right now as he’s chanting please don’t let it be him, please don’t let it be him over and over like a mantra. No matter the effort he puts into his prayers, he knows that deep down it’s that stupid perverted clown.
