I feel it only appropriate that the first post of 2018 on this page should be a shout out to the anime that got me into cosplay in the first place and has rebooted after 18 years to bring us a new series arc! Yes thats right I'm taking about Cardcaptor Sakura! She was my first real japanese anime, first manga I read, first real cosplay I made in high school... cause I'm such a nerd! Cardcaptor Sakura has released a new anime arc yesterday in Japan! Cardcaptor Sakura: Clear Card Arc! I'm so excited as to what it brings, magic, friendship, love, all the good stuff! So of course I watched the first episode in the new arc today in english sub thank god... and it's all lovey-dovey goodness! Great way to start the new series, and already with all the sneak peaks of costumes Sakura wears, gives me more reasons to cosplay her. So far I've only made 3 costumes of Sakura and one of Madison/Tomoyo. But just like Madison/Tomoyo who makes all of Sakura's Battle Costumes.. I WANNA MAKE THEM ALL SOMEDAY!!! And now more have been added because of this new arc! Happiness all around! But I gotta say I'm so glad that it's come back... I needed a new anime fix, I'm so happy it's just the old one but all grown up... now I don't need to feel so weird cosplaying a 10 year old...
