Day one of #febroary complete with the majestic Mountain Lion! I'd say that's not a bad start, expressly since I don't have much experience drawing cats. Here's hoping the momentum continues! .

Some recent studies! Sometimes I’ll look at the reference in full color and do the study in b/w - and sometimes the reference in b/w and try to design the colors myself but occasionally bring colors back as an aid/guide. These exercises really help me understand affect of light on value.
