or rather, my brain said the above was 8 sides not six. so I’ll actually be going in and changing any ox/oct things in dha kar'ta to hex because that's definitely what I meant 🥴

being said, Dha IS a pillar(?)/3D shape rather than flat, so is probably 6-sided but 12+ facetted. was definitely imagining something like an emerald just. y’know. six-ish inches long and two or three inches wide.

Also PLEASE PLEASE give us a full length Marie book, I loved the short about Zoe and Cleo.

I’ve said before, that the problem with f/f, at least, the f/f I’ve tried to do, is that it doesn’t sell much. That might be me and my writing, though. I don’t think that’s the fault of the genre itself (though I have heard a few complaints from writers about it). I want to do more. It’s just a matter of justifying the time and labor with whatever I might make. (I have to do the same risk assessment when writing historicals, or anything “weird”) 

As a point of reference, to even get people to read Tat, I had to give it away for free. 

That said, I do think I want to do lesbian knights novella. I was briefly disheartened because I saw one of those tumblr posts that was all about shitting on certain tropes, and fantasy monarchies was the topic that day. But then I remembered, fuck those people. Knights weren’t perfect, chivalrous, gentle folk on white horses who were committed to pure love and fighting dragons. They were fucking tanks sent out to murder people for land or money or for money and land but disguised as religion. They were expensive to train, arm, and keep as your personal army, and rules about how they were to conduct themselves meant about as much as rules governing what the rich and powerful do anywhere at any time. We know all of that. We like them culturally anyway. 

And mine are lesbians.
