Hey, guys. How was your week? I hope it was great! Most days I rate at about 85%, but today was creeping up to 90% despite the schizophrenic weather (rain, hail, sun, repeat). ☔❄️🌞⁣ ⁣ Instagram can be such an amazing place, and in some ways mimics our real world lives. 🌍🌎🌏 I think we are attracted to the same kinds of people in both places, don’t you?⁣ ⁣ There are our besties, 💕 and our social friends. 💫 We can encounter great conversationalists, 👥 smart people and thinkers. 🧠 And people who can make us laugh, 😄 people who warm our hearts, 💗 and those who are reserved but we know they are kind, good people who would be interesting to meet in real life 👍 (you know who you are, Frank, David, Nick).⁣ ⁣ We can run into our good chums, stop and chat and smile because they brighten our lives. 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩 And there are those we see rarely, but what joy to cross paths and to catch up when we do! 💃 People who exchange comments and give their time and attention to us engender feelings of connectedness and gratitude. 🙏 For me, I feel a real kinship with them.⁣ ⁣ I’ve noticed there are others whose posts I see, like, comment on, but they aren’t at all interested in me. 😟 It seems harsh to unfollow someone who is following you, ⛔ So, by muting posts and stories of those who never engage, you gain more opportunities to see the people who make IG such a happy place! 😍⁣ ⁣ A recent sampling (beyond some of my good friends like @sensastone, @gilboa_mountain and @masaya5656) are tagged above.🗣️⁣ ⁣ Do you see the little “head” icon in the bottom left corner? ⚫ If you click on it, a list of people will pop up.
