It was a difficult track through Madeburg, and then beyond. Once they had arrived to town, they had to quick put on the disguise as peasants... but that only resulted in them nearly being taken in by bandits. Luckily with Merryn's knowledge and Rele's convincing, the two were able to create a diversion using some passing nobles and escape.
They hijacked some luft radeln to cross over the mountainous terrain and wound up weaving through humongous trees... hundreds and hundreds of feet high!
"I think we're close to Russeldorf now," Merryn chirped. This had been the most excitement she'd... well, probably the most she'd ever had. She held no real political power, not even seen as a real heir to the throne, only a backup figurehead, and she was tired of needing to maintain this lie, this illusion of being a prim and proper respectable princess if she really wasn't anything. Merryn wanted to do what she wanted to do.
