Maddius wasn’t always a pirate queen. She also wasn’t always so confident. She actually used to be a part of a cult of Lolith that strayed from the main teachings that drow were ‘supposed’ to follow. You see, Madds was in love with the cult leader, did anything she said. Homegirl had no backbone and did a lot of bad things for this person. She always thought that the love was mutual... it turns out she had been lied to. She was just being used because she’s a VERY powerful sorcerer. When Maddius found that out, she snapped. She did SO MUCH for this woman, and she didn’t actually give a shit about maddius. Madds killed her, effectively ending the cult. She stole some sacred artifacts, told people to either follow her or be left to figure out their lives for theirselves, and then she never looked back. Now she does whatever she wants, and NO ONE tells her what to do.
