Years ago I remember seeing a post from someone in a Sarah J Maas book group on FB talking about a book sheโd sold. It sounded INCREDIBLE and so I sat there eagerly awaiting the release and when September 2019 finally rolled around, I devoured this little known book. Serpent and Dove was all I could possibly want in a book. It had intrigue, mystery, a hot guy, a few evil villains, a delicious enemies-to-lovers trope, and a heroine who was unapologetically herself. She was bawdy, brash and beautiful and I had no idea I needed her until then. I was also smack-dab in the middle of my Outlander obsession so red-haired men and Dame Blanches were LIFE. Now the finale has been released and the series is known and loved all over the world. Thank you so much for this beautiful adventure, wonderful world, and fantastically nuanced characters @shelbymahurin!!
