McDonald does have half a mind to simply suit up again, as Captain Fitzjames had instructed them to, but a small detail he’d noticed during the meeting has been eating at him. He cannot help but trail after Stanley as the other makes his way back towards the sickbay, though he does catch the inquisitive looks he receives from lieutenants Hodgson and Irving. “Go along, lads,” he says kindly, nodding his head in the direction of the deck. “I’ll be along shortly. I have something to attend to first.”
