The pair of them had arrived at the venue early, and now that the set-up was completed, they’re just sitting at one of the tables near the front, waiting.Watching as his boyfriend fidgets with his own fingers, Kenzie sighs and slides his chair closer to the other man so that he can cover the musician’s hands with his own. “Lloyd,” he says firmly, waiting for him to look up before continuing, “Everyone’s going to love it, okay? How could they not?”Okay, so maybe Kenzie was biased, having been privy to numerous recording sessions and playbacks, but this album means a lot to Lloyd, and isn’t that reason enough for their friends and family to love it? Maybe the critics would be a different story, but Kenzie doesn’t think so. Besides, tonight isn’t about them - this listening party isn’t a professional endeavor, isn’t the official launch. Are you proud of all the work you’ve done?”Once again, Lloyd nods, his lips twitching at the corners like he might be verging on a smile.“Did you give this album your all?”Lloyd nods yet again, meeting Kenzie’s pointed gaze as a faint blush spreads over his cheeks.“Yeah,” he says, finally, proudly, and Kenzie smiles, “You know I did, Kenz.”Kenzie twines their fingers together then, and says, “Well, then, I stand by what I said: how can anyone who matters not love it?”Lloyd is full on blushing now, his smile bashful as he shakes his head.“They couldn’t.”

but lol, i can actually totally see it, tbh. making videos during his uni years or whatever, and guest appearances by fee, lloyd, and lexi, from time to time. let him make you internet famous, fee :P
