…I would need to rewatch Season 8 to remember for sure, but I believe the Blade of Marmora and Druids fought each other in a flashback in “The Ruins.” Macidus and Kolivan were all who remained of the battle, meaning all the other Druid fell.

Well at least now I know how druids look like. Or one of them did look like.

I liked this episode more than most of the season so far. We finally learned what happened to the Blades, we got Kolivan back, there is Haggar hiding behind the curtain planning her evil plans, and we go Macidus, who was rather interesting antagonist and I seriously didn’t expect a druid back from S1 to come back. Also Kolivan’s alive and ready to find the survivors of his group along with Krolia. Yaaay.

I really dig that fight between Keith and Maddadus; teleportation fight has a lotof room for for creativity and while I do think there could be more done with it and fight itself should have been longer, it was still neat. Also Keith’s quintessence reading reared its head yet again and that’s one of the more interesting still unresolved plot points for me so.

Also there was a lot of space doggo and that’s always a Good Stuff.
