As the interest builds on Power Play as a property across all media, starting with an innovative digital comic, to role-playing/collectible card games, to video games, animation & more, it's really only a matter of time before Hollywood comes around asking us to make a TV show or movie about our superpowered street athletes. 

So here's our top casting picks for a live-action POWER PLAY!

First up is our hero Mac Washington. You get a to know him a bit in the preview but when our first issue debuts you'll get to know Mac and his friends really well. You'll see Mac as he figures out how to use his new superpower, to become any substance he touches, from concrete to beer! He's a bit of a slacker but he's got a hero quality about him, if only the situation presented itself where he could show what he's made of!

David Blue has all the quirky, goofball, everyday Joe qualities that Mac has, plus he's got the geek cred to back up his performance having played Eli Wallace on Stargate Universe. Just like Mac, in that show he was someone who didn't know if he had the confidence in himself, but just needed to be thrown into action in order to get his moment to shine.

Mac Washington, NYU student with very little ambition and even less ability. He's pretty bad in most of his classes, and even worse at any of the sports he tries out for. He looks around at his friends who all know what their passions are, the direction their lives are heading, and all he knows is that he's got to scrape up the cash to get his weekly comics pull list from Forbidden Planet.

From medical trials and psychological studies, Mac sells his body to science to get enough money to get by, but after one fateful walk back from the comic shop, a lightning strike in the center of Union Square changes his life forever, endowing him with the power to become whatever substance he touches, be it concrete, steel, or even beer!
