Whoo! Trick ending, I'll admit I didn't guess the second half of the whodunnit. This book took me about 70 pages to get into, but once the mystery became apparent I was in it for the long hall. The characters didn't stand out so strongly to me, but I liked the premise of the novel and how more and more information about the library became apparent. I had a lot of questions and I worried there were holes, but it turns out Mac didn't even know the info either. Is it funny that the part I found most unrealistic was Mac meeting a keeper of the opposite gender around her age? What are the chances? I will say Mac/Owen threw me for a loop but everything made sense in the end/the progression of that relationship. I was secretly hoping Da was a Librarian all along. Also, totally thought Roland was going to be the bad guy or turn out to be Mac's great grandpa or something. Why is he so invested in the Bishops? Can't wait to start The Unbound.
