ooh, what's "A stray (can we keep him)"? (great title!)
Ha, this is a crazy idea I have (bc occupational habit) where padfoot has just escaped Azkaban and is basically wandering about the countryside. In this country side there is a girl who gets picked on by some kids because she is different or whatever (i have a whole backstory - but the most important factor is her mum, who is a vet)
anyway, they meet because of course he scares the bad kids off and then she keeps meeting him, bringing food etc, and at some point tries to find an owner and in the end, just takes him home and tries to persuade her mum to let her keep him.
its going to be a bit sad because at some point he runs of to escape from getting castrated (again occup hazard) or sm like that. (also because he has to protect harry)
i'm not sure this will ever get posted tbh.
