What if, instead of the teapot being Alicia's, it was just a random teapot being sold at a traveling fair, and jack (post overdose, angry and embarrassed) had wanted to get rid of the medallion (a reminder of what he'd failed to do) so he just stuffed it in the pot, which was then carted slowly down the east coast to Georgia at which point Susanne grabs it for bits

The whole camp is obsessed but Lance eventually has to go home and then back to space but when he gets in his lion he does a flyover of camp before he leaves earth. When he comes back a while later, Blue is on the pool mural, and he’s welcomed back happily. The end.

you got some points there friend but let me raise you: first contact and ensuing camp chaos

After years Voltron is finally able to take more than a week or so long break from defending the universe and go home for an extended stay

it’s not their first trip home, so they’ve seen their families and stuff, but it is their longest, and y’know somebody caught sight of their pods so surprise! there are aliens, everyone!

thus first contact for Earth is actually between two actual aliens with seven Humans (6.5?) who have been to Space (five of which, y’know…piloted telepathic mecha lions and triggered the dismantling of an entire imperialistic regime that had lasted millennia) and all the other humans who had only been to the far reaches of the solar system.

News coverage. so. much. news coverage.

ofc some people try to put voltron in a bad light because that’s what people do but mostly everyone is like !!! wait you mean red dude is half alien?? that means they’ve been here before!! (cue consiracy theorist going nuts. Kirth is kinda smug about this)

And it’s revealed that it’s THE Takashi Shirogane of the Kerberos mission that’s the leader oand those four kids that went missing a year later are part of it too holy shit how much was the Garrison covering up?

but anyway and old camp friend of Lance’s obviously sees the news and recognizes Lance when they announce this. 

he looks tired, scarred, with a kind of weariness to him, but also so relieved to be home, happy with his team. He looks grown up even if his grin is still the same and he has a scar running down his cheek.

they immediately contact all camp staff they know and all freak tf out because LANCE!! IS!!!! ALIVE!!! (and he lived way more of his dream than even he thought was possible)

It takes a while to contact him because everybody is claiming to know him but one of Lance’s siblings is working at camp (as the lifeguard, honouring Lance’s legacy) so like. they got their in. 

the sibling is like chill I knew my big bro was alive but if I told you, you wouldn’t’ve believed me??? but he’d totally be down for a get together

so the first PR stunt on Earth with only like one news crew because otherwise it would be gross, is actually Lance going back to camp after regular sessions end and meets with all the staff and former campers (some of which are now staff) whose lives he had changed and they cry

 he tells them how much he missed camp and introduces them to the team of his bff and adoptive sister and kinda awkward dad figure andhalf alien boyfriend and the actual real FULL aliens (he warns everyone not to ask too many questions for obvious reasons)

no Lions because those are actually really big and dangerous and there’s a story in there about governments taking them away to experiment on but I don’t wanna think about that and tbh the lions would get away anyway

they talk about space and piloting Lions and different planets they visited and saved.

before they leave they get a tour of how camp has changed over the years he’s been away, and he sees the mural. Lance loses it. he missed camp so much and it’s so overwhelming that they missed him so much they would paint his pool deck for his memory

Hello, thanks for asking.  We have every intention of finishing. I’m just taking a little break.  I needed to refresh my muse by working on some other things for a bit.  The rest of the comic is planned, and I’ll be back at it soon! Woo!

Take a bike tour, if you can! They’re great ways to see a lot of the city up close.

The cliffs of moher and stonehenge were amazing in Ireland!

Bike tours of London are great, if you’re able to do one. They aren’t as impersonal as bus tours but you still get around enough to see a lot of things 

Awesome! I’ve started seeing them more around my city too. (Just got remember how to ride a bike…)

there is a walking tour company (they have red umbrellas but I forgot what they were called but you can google it) that do some great walking tours, I did them in europe

I hadn’t been looking into walking tours that much funnily, but it seems like it might be suited to some places. Is it for big cities, or like smaller towns?

I definitely have Arthur’s Seat on my list!
