This is so random I apologize. I love love the little sketches and posts and pictures you share about your sweet family. A couple months ago in the middle of the night I was heavily pregnant with my second kid and went a-scrolling through your parenting tag, laughing at your baby's adorable hijinks. Suddenly I started to feel a twinge that I had felt before and I thought no. Surely not. But the twinges intensified very quickly. I had my baby that day and it was triggered (as far as I can tell) by the oxytocin rush from observing how cute and sweet your family is. Anyway, cue horrified drive-thru employee meme

the baby update is that 3 weeks ago she had a fever and got sick for the first time and was extremely sad and clingy. things were already rough before then because we were transitioning from 2 naps a day to 1.
the week after was semi back to normal, except she'd now made the jump to 1 nap. like naturally staying up longer in the mornings.
now for the last week, there has been an overnight transformation. Aurora has decided she prefers walking to crawling. she also prefers being extremely crazy non-stop go go go to sleeping. it's insane. we suddenly have a toddler. it happened so fast. we're exhausted, we look at each other like what the fuck happened literally what happened it was overnight.
The Kissing Hand was one of me and my parents' absolute favorites when I was little! So glad you're keeping the classics alive :,)
