the party at the house was full of life, it was a few hours in and he knew they had a while to go. there were so many people and it was hard to keep track of everyone, but of course mason was waiting for one person, grace, to show up. he had a cup in one hand while he mingled with one of his guests his eyes wandered to someone walking into the room, a smile on his face as he did so. “grace!” mason said, not even bothering to excuse himself from his conversation before he went over to greet the girl, his arms wrapped around her in a quick hug before he pulled away. “welcome! you should have texted me that you were here, i would have let you in.” he smiles as he looks down at her. “do you want a drink? or something to eat? josh and nate did such an amazing job cooking and putting this together.”
