While I was meditating earlier I decided to listen to the song on repeat. After about the 3rd time repeating, I noticed that my heart beat begun to reach a very stable rate, and every time it constricted or contracted there was a subtle but distinct wave that appeared and disappeared (my eyes were closed).

During this period I willed myself to hyper-focus on my bodily sensations as a subterfuge so I wouldn’t indulge my logical side that wanted to explain why I was seeing what I was.

After a few minutes of this focused awareness, I began to see very subtle/blurry images that lasted a brief instant before disappearing (different quality/texture than daydreaming visualizations, more like images seen in a hypnagogic state). Once the images began lasting a little longer, I realized that it was literally snapshots of the math homework I was doing earlier in the day

Intrigued, I tried to will myself to see more, but only managed to see the image pop-up once after that. It was a bit more clear, but did not last long. I guess I need more practice.
