"I can’t do this anymore." [GIVE ME THE ANGST]
"… Excuse me?" Sumin’s dark brows knitted together, hand clutching onto her phone. She knew how much Jisook hated being put in this situation, but nothing could have been done to stop it. The other girl’s voice resonated through the phone, repeating the everso cliche line, causing Sumin to growl innately, slamming her free hand onto the coffee table.
"Listen to me, Kim Jisook, you better not hang up on me—hello? Hello?" Her voice boomed through the line, though Jisook had already ended the call. She felt her chest tinge with frustration, knowing what could have happened if she didn’t solve this problem right now.
She felt time tick by slowly, though she was running full speed towards a familiar apartment complex. As she banged on the door, tears were starting to well up in her eyes. “What’s her pin… God fuckin’ damn it…” A soft cry rang through her ears as she gazed up, meeting eye to eye with the other. She was a mess; hair disheveled, mascara running.
"Sumin…""Shh. I’m here for you," pulling her in for a tight hug, Sumin rubbed her back gently, kissing the side of her head, "don’t talk right now. You just need to cry. Talk when you’re ready. I won’t leave you, not when you’re like this."
