Halloween Meme: #1 with Isaac and Lydia?
Of course, Nonny! This is a really sweet prompt you gave me there!^^ I hope that you like it! It’s short but hopefully good.^^
“How about this one?” Isaac asked, a little cautious since his first two options had been shot down almost before he could offer them. Not that he really understood why, since there weren’t that many differences between the three pumpkins.
Though he should have known that Lydia would only want the best of the best for their Halloween evening. They weren’t doing anything great or exceptional, just the pack and the families together for the day and evening.
The carving of the pumpkins was mainly for the kids. To keep them occupied until the decorating was done, for one ting, and secondly, to keep them from whining for sweets until it was time to go trick or treating. He didn’t really want to think about the mess that would be their kitchen when the kids were done with carving.
“Hmmm,” Lydia contemplated the pumpkin, when Isaac pulled his mind back to the present. “This one actually looks good. It’s evenly coloured, smooth skinned and not too big.” Her fingers tapped a small rhythm on the pumpkin before she gave Isaac a sweet smile.
“Great choice,” she said, leaning up to press a soft kiss to his cheek effectively making him duck his head and his face flush.
“Now we only need five more.” Isaac groaned but dutifully returned his attention to the pile of pumpkins that was still left.
