In that moment, Hawke felt as though time had slowed down around her. Her heart began pounding in her chest as those words kept repeating themselves over and over in her head. Her blue eyes widened and her cheeks flushed a bright shade of pink. For the first time in a long time, she was speechless.

She was well aware of Fenris’ feelings, but she was always afraid of accidentally overstepping her boundaries lest she drove him away. They had become close in the years they had been fighting criminals and monsters together, and she saw a transformation within him.

She found herself falling for the elf, but she had to push her feelings aside for the sake of her other companions.

She didn’t realize she had been holding her breath until she finally snapped back into reality. “Fenris... I...”

Allys hated when she was injured during a fight; she preferred when she was the one taking care of the others and hated to show some VULNERABILITY. She sighed when Fenris approached her, asking to take a look at her arm, but on the other hand, she was glad he was the one who was here; it was easier to fully be herself with him. 

“I didn’t know you were a healer.” She teased as she let a smirk cross her features, showing him his arm. “It’s really not this bad. It hurts a bit, but I’ll clean everything once I’m home, and I’ll be fine.” She assured, smiling more genuinely this time. “You should come with me, by the way. I like it when you’re around, but you probably know this by now.” She added, patting his arm. She truly enjoyed Fenris’ presence, but she also knew that flirting was a good way for him to stop focusing on her injury. 

Eric was never well...he was always seen as a very different Anders, the people from Anderfels since he wasn’t stoic or called. Sure he could be if he wanted but not when he was seeing someone he used to know. Such a big shock was it when the elf pushed him back. He looked at him and blinked for a moment.

She had just finished sentencing another of the men who’d committed crimes against Thedas to time in prison with the option to do service work for the sake of their country to at least clear their name - though their life sentences would not be revoked in any hurry - but even still, Ellana was exhausted. There were those among her companions who did not approve of her more merciful approach, but in honesty she still hardly knew what decisions to make. It was all instinct, never real certainty.
