Today, the gf and I finally contacted a realty company to see if we could find out if we were financially secure enough to start the process of looking for a house.
Todayās progress:
-Got contacted (within minutes) by a representative from the company we messaged online
-Got put in touch with someone who would start us on the pre-approval process (or in our case, theĀ āhow much house can we afford?ā process)
-Got contacted by the person who will end up being the real estate agent helping us out.
The agent says heās going to start looking around to see whatās in the area that could work for us, and in the meantime weāre going to wait for the pre-approval folks to get back to us with a monetary range.Ā
Hereās to hoping weāve got enough saved up between us to start the process, because I really donāt want to rent anymore after this year!
