BIOGRAPHY Hayley was born and raised on the bayou miles outside of the New Orleans as Andrea Labonair by two high profile employees of Stark Industries. She had to walk an hour to the bus stop and back because both her parents worked all the time and no buses ran any closer to their estate than that. She got into fights a lot and often found herself in trouble with authority because she never had to deal with it at home so she didnāt particularly care for it outsideĀ of home, either. She filed for emancipation at the age of sixteen and with all the money sheād saved from all the times her parents threw money at her to keep her happy in their absences, moved out.Ā
She was only a few months away from graduating when the bioweapon was tested in the bayou and rumors began to circulate. Her parents had been some of the scientists on the news talking about Stark Industriesā work and classmates began to say things to herĀ about it. Deciding she wasnāt going to live with the judgements of her parents being pushed on her, she legally changed her name to Hayley Marshall after she graduated in order to start a new life in college. She ended up moving out of the apartment she was renting to stay at a friendās estate not far from the campus sheād be attending.
The bayou where she was born was one of the first infected by the virus and while Hayley never went out to see the damage, she was under no illusion that her parents were still alive. If they hadĀ gotten out without getting infected, then they were probably put up somewhere downtown by the company itself and while she did loveĀ her parents, she hadnāt seen them since she was sixteen and she wasnāt going to change that just because of an infection. If she knew how bad that outbreak would end up getting not long after that decision, she might have changed her mind.
