Within the first few weeks of B.J. and Lydia’s friendship she had to lay down the law when it came to the bugs. She was fine with most of them but had to harshly ban bedbugs after multiple infestations.

Delia is numb to a lot of the strange goings-on in the house. She grew up in the city and saw many strange things almost daily. Seances, purple-skinned people, striped dogs, and over the top ventriloquist acts are hardly wild to her.

Charles has had many therapy appointments since the beginning of B.J. and Lydia’s friendship. He’s aquired multiple potential diagnosis but none of them are true.

Beetlejuice isn’t all that sure where his power comes from. He’s only noticed that it’s more powerful when it’s tied to a joke.

Lydia isn’t magic at all but knows a lot about magic. The incantation that takes her to the Neitherworld and changes her clothes happens as a product of Beetlejuice’s magic. It’s HIS incantation. Therefore it’s his magic being used to change her appearance and whisk her away. She’s being allowed to temporarily tap into it.

The only things that are clean in B.J.’s closet are a couple of ties that Lydia made for him. He hasn’t worn them yet. Not because he doesn’t want to, but because he doesn’t want to clean them when they ultimately get dirty. He’ll wear them on a special occasion though. Perhaps at Doomie and Pinky’s wedding.
