The actors of this movie truly did a fantastic job. Nikki seems so incredibly scary at times and you can truly see the difference between cursed Nikki and the real Nikki. Also Inde Navarrette somehow manages to switch between facial expressions so fast, it’s fascinating.
About Bear… I truly hated his character. Which makes me guess that the actor, Micheal Johnston, also did a good job. The fact that he manages to portray a selfish man so well makes his character truly dislike-able.
For the plot itself, I have to say this movie’s concept was just fascinating. Since I was little, there would always be said ‘but you can’t wish for love’. In every single movie where one could wish or control something like that, it was always said not to do it. Well this movie did exactly that. Though I think his wish only went so wrong cause he worded it really weird. ‘I wish for Nikki Freeman to love me more than anything’. I mean come on. That wish itself makes you thing, huh that sounds wrong.
Now here starts the spoilers:
After he did that stupid wish in his car, Nikki instantly turned around and god was that scene creepy. I truly got the chills watching that scene in the cinema. Just the lighting and everything. It was chefs kiss.
My favourite scene was the one while they were having a date in the restaurant. That repeated no while getting louder is such a peak performance. Also I loved the detail in the sex scene. Like the way she was just laying there all limp with her face not moving. It was such a nice detail.
Also to add, I think there were only two actual times I jumped in my seat from surprise. The one scene in the bedroom where she’s watching him sleep and the car scene with Sarah. (That scene looked so fake though).
I think that the cursed Nikki didn’t know how to act around Bear as the real just Nikki wasn’t in love with him. The fact that she first acted a tiny bit like his dead cat, Sandy says a lot. Watching him sleep, waiting by the door without moving, clinging to him etc. After she killed Sarah she acted a lot like Sarah. She tried painting the tattoo and all that. It is such a fascinating detail, I truly love it.
For the ending, I do think it’s sad that Nikki is alone at the end. Sarah and Ian are dead. Bear as well. Additionally, I hate Bear. He's such a horrible human being. Nikki begged for help and all he asked is if it's so bad to be with him. Like dude, that's not the point.
Anyway, I'd honestly give this movie a 10/10. I loved this movie so much. Maybe I'll write a fanfic about Nikki x reader sometimes.

Last three days of school before summer break, only for me to spend 2 of these with my classmates on a class trip and the other one having breakfast as a class with our teacher. Pointless? Pretty much.
As requested by my best friend (who doesn’t have Tumblr), I’d like to talk about this song. It is not in my playlist.
The song itself talks about tension between two in love people where neither makes the first move. I think the ‘take me out’ is meant as a double hint on ‘take me out’ as in ‘kill me’ and ‘ask me out on a date’.
The song is full of yearning and love. Personally, not my type of lyrics I’d relate to. However it is quite well written.
The vibe of the song itself reminds of listening to it while sitting on the train and looking out of the window. Maybe thinking about someone.
As of the melody, it’s sort of a slow bass which isn’t usually my style as well. However with the added drums it does turn into a quite catchy song that isn’t to sad. (I don’t really like sad songs).
I think there’s some guitar in the song as well, which makes it quite interesting to listen to.
Overall, I do think it’s an interesting song but not really something I’d actively listen to. I’d give the song 6,5/10.
This was literally my first song on this playlist (which is literally called ‘my playlist’, i’m so creative I know).
I really like the vibe of this song. It reminds me of a long car drive, the beat matches so well with the sing voice.
Genuinely like this song even though my music taste changed a lot since I started this playlist (which was in 2021).
I’d give it a 7,5/10 as I do listen to a lot of different things now but it gives me so much nostalgia I can’t rate it lower. It is still one of the songs I skip the most on my playlist.

like I said in my intro post I sometimes watch the mass videos from St Mary’s in Ottawa ever since they showed up on my youtube recommendeds and like I really kinda vibe with some of the saints they talked about in their homilies (more on that later) but like I feel like I can’t really get into it cause like I’d like to believe there’s a purgatory but it doesn’t really make sense to me just by the Bible and also I know a few people who have been really hurt from going to Catholic school so I’m hesitant to see that as a doctrine I want to get into
