Stopped by KFRC (Kaiser Rehabilitation) w/ @louiev247 and @domxperignon to visit a new wheel friend. Andy is 17 years old and was involved in a diving accident 3 weeks ago that left him paralyzed from the neck down. Despite his sudden life change he has such a positive attitude, asking a lot of questions concerning his condition. This exercise may look easy to you, but the amount of energy and determination that it takes for me to mentally send a signal through my body to my feet so that they make connection with the floor to help press me up is insane. My workouts at #projectwalk are amazing! I really enjoy working w/ my trainer @okuyoga aka "The General" because she pushes me pass my limits and always forgets to count my reps causing me to do more with each set. Ha! My legs are worked.
