The Devil’s in the Details Author: anonymous Pairing: John/Lestrade Rating: NC-17 Summary: Lestrade has always enjoyed being a submissive partner on occasion, but rarely has a partner who is comfortable fulfilling this need, so he does without. He just wants to let go with someone he trusts. Why: I love the writing in this. It’s detailed and quietly emotional and introspective. The dynamic, too, of the female in the relationship being the dom and the male the sub is quite interesting to me. As one of the comments says, the slow burn in this is amazing. And, as always, Jane Watson is a bad-ass, through and through.
