                                she asks kindly, hand gesturing towards the chair opposite       the other, the stained wooden back facing the corner where the cafe’s windows       meet. it was usually her spot, and it’s the first time she’s had someone else be        sitting close to it. though today in particular she doesn’t mind -- the man seems       nice enough, and with the buzz the cafe’s owner’s been making about that        afternoon’s performer, shared space is surely something she’d have to consider.       she smiles at him, the tilt of her head adding an endearing look to her expression.

{ Not that there’s ever any good reason to think he’s not the hottest piece   of ass on this ship – or at least close to the title. But number one may   or may not be in that halfway passed-out place between Cloud 9 and   Cloud Cuckoo-land. }

       ( though, admittedly, you won’t hear her say that on any given day. but for now she’ll share her thoughts with an induced high, laughter spilling from her lips and a certain dreaminess coming across her eyes.
