Music, comedy, the League of Women Voters and, of course, Lasers! It's a quick roundup of things happening around here and within our circle of folks who are further-flung:
Tonight in Ventura, there's a lineup at the Ventura Theater that includes the band Cayucas. If you've not heard of them, they're... sort of what would happen if the young Beach Boys met Beck? Anyway, they're great, and most of our company is going. We recommend checking them out. (By the way, Young the Giant is the headliner. On first glance, they sound pretty cool.)
Fresh back in LA from Nashville, Sarah Colonna is off next to the Chicago area, performing this weekend at Thursday through Saturday at various Zanie's locations. Get tickets through her website.
Sarah also has a cool podcast she's been doing with Josh Wolf and, of course, is in the comedy Back in the Day which you can rent on iTunes.
In the Inland Empire, Dr. Babak Farzaneh has brought MiXto CO2 Laser Treatments to his patients, and the reaction has been fantastic. He's made a video demonstrating the laser treatment, which for many shows results from a single 30-minute session that would have required 3 separate sessions with previous lasers. Check out Dr. Farzaneh's press room to learn more.
