She broke from her thoughts at the sound of a voice near her. She looked up from the spot on the ground she’d been staring at and smiled at them. “Sorry, my mind was elsewhere, what did you say?” she asked.
❝ Honestly? I don’t think any mission can guarantee safety. I wish I could tell you otherwise, but... Until the war is over, I don’t think anything is safe.
