Delphine had no idea how much money she truly made as a therapist - not when most of her cheque went to paying bills her father didn't, or buying alcohol for him. Even still, it never really sunk in until her and Kingsley were looking at houses together, and seeing what they could afford. This next house had the colour drain from her face. One look at it, and she almost pulled away before even entering. There was no way they could afford a place as nice as this. It was practically a mansion to her, after all. And if the outside didn't do it enough justice, it was even bigger inside. She could barely hear what the real estate agent was going on about, because she was trying to get over the high ceilings and beautiful archway that lead out of the living room.

Her eyes gawked at just about everything she saw, and the sheer size of the place was enough to stun her into silence. She made comments on the dishwasher, fridge, stove and separated oven - marveled at them, really, with a huge grin on her face like she was a first year Hogwarts student seeing Hogsmeade for the first time. And then they got to the master bedroom and bathroom. She knew Kingsley had seen where she previously lived, in order to arrest her father once upon a time, so he'd of known how small it was. What would she do with all this space just in the bedroom? The agent left them to give them time to think, and that's when Delphine turned to Kingsley, bewildered.

"I-I could have a bath. Like.. a real bath. With jets. And the shower is- it's huge. Like.. comfortably showering with you huge and then some. And the space! I could fit an entire apartment in this bedroom alone!" She laughed as she spun to look at everything around her again. She put her hands over her head to stretch, looking at the ceiling. "It's so high.." Her nose scrunched as she looked back to Kingsley, deciding to throw herself at him and wrap her arms around his neck, kissing him.

"I could have a dog! You saw the yard, right? I could have three dogs if I wanted. An actual pet! There's so much light coming into the place, it's practically a palace! Can we get a dog? No, but really. Can we? A dog and then a dog friend for the first dog?"

She’d rocked up in the restaurant they’d agreed to meet in for an official date and Summer couldn’t be more excited. She’d almost thought of running from town again and finding somewhere new to live before she’d found Enrique. He was everything she’d ever wanted and more, she couldn’t believe her sudden luck. Especially after feeling like the most unlucky person in the world for so long. “Well this is all very...posh,” she said when she rocked up to see him already waiting there for her. I don’t know what I did to deserve such a special Valentines treat.”

It was the day of Mirabel’s scan and Adam sat in the hospital holding her hand, naturally. He’d never felt so nervous, worried something might be wrong despite the fact he wasn’t even the father. This whole experience had been so difficult for him to get to grasps with despite how much he wanted to care for and look after the woman beside her. The two waited for the nurse and Adam tried to break the nervous silence. “It...It will all be fine, I’m sure. Are you excited to see your baby?” he mumbled in her direction, trying to force a smile onto his face.

They said it was nothing serious, he had just gotten dehydrated and collapsed. He was working too hard for too long and his body shut down to rest. They had him hooked up to a drip and once his levels were good, they’d release him. It would probably take a day and then he’d be back to work. It happened and he’d be fine.

Then why did Leia feel like her heart had been stepped on?

Elliot had done this to himself. She was always telling him to slow down and take better care of his body, she’d spent hours arguing with him about food and sleep. She should be pissed, she was pissed, that he hadn’t a care about his own wellbeing and carried on like he always did. How often had they fought about this? Now he’d gone and fainted like an idiot and the hospital called Leia during a rehearsal to come and pick up her soon to be ex-husband. Honestly it was a little surprising the hospital had called her at all, the couple had been separated for almost six months. Surely everyone knew not to call her anymore, not like they used to. It was infuriating how inconsiderate Elliot could be, even when he wasn’t trying. She was mad at him, she wasn’t worried or scared. She hated this man, she did!

“I swear to God, if you don’t wake up right now, I’m going to kill you.”

Leia had lived in Los Angeles for two years but she’d never been to this hotel before. She’d never been to this part of LA before. She tightened the long coat Griffin had given her as they exited the elevator and made their way towards his room. She did not belong in a place like this, the stares of the hotel guests proved it. Resisting the urge to gasp when she entered the hotel room, Leia turned in a small circle, trying to see everything. It was like a movie set or something, clean and elegant. She caught sight of a china vase on a lacquered table. Damn, how rich was this guy. First the fancy sports car and now a penthouse house in a 5-star hotel, it was insane. Something had to be wrong with him. Why would a handsome rich guy pick up a whore in a $10 dress and holey boots?

“So, now that you’ve brought me here what do you want to do? I mean, it’s your hour, but we might as well get started.” Leia said, tossing his coat on one of the couches and lightly touching the top of her head to make sure her wig hadn’t fallen off.

After a long day of school and work, all Lola wanted to do was get a quick bite to eat and immediately fall asleep. Originally she planned to go back to her home and eat some of her mom’s leftovers, but as she sat on the bus on her way there, she saw she was passing nearby Luis’s place. Instead of getting to her next stop and getting on the next bus to get home, she got off a few stops early and walked to Luis’s place. She opened the door with the key he had given her a few weeks ago, and walked in. “It’s just me, Lola,” she called out, not sure if he was home. She would have texted him, but her phone was dead and she had left her charger at home and hadn’t been able to charge it while she was teaching.
