“I’m not uncomfortable with him, there’s a lot I don’t know about him though. An’ I’m not sure he knows a lot about me either.”

6.          does your character have recurring themes in their dreams  ??

sort of ,     but he can almost never remember what they are .               he more just plain sleeps than dreams ,     & ,     because of how long it takes for him to properly wake up in the mornings or early afternoons ,     he doesn’t have the energy to actually recall his dreams .               though he has a vague recollection of them often being pure comfort ,     feeling - wise .               so i suppose you could say the recurring theme would be comfort & comforts .

7.          does your character have recurring themes in their nightmares   ??

there’s very little consistency in when they turn up ,     but ptsd nightmares are the most common & unfortunately the only ones he remembers throughout the entire day .               the subjects vary from the navy to the adventure days ,     but a constant theme throughout all of them is survival .               doing anything & everything to survive & make sure others survive as well ,     be it maintaining sanity or physical well - being or some third thing .
