I know we're pretty set on May/Ravi and Lucy/Taylor as "background ships" (there are fics that focus on them of course), but have we thought about Ravi/Lucy yet? Because I have. A lot.
Idk, I just think it would be funny because they both worked with the 118, but never became fully fledged members of the inner circle (or they haven't yet) and they both know Tommy. They're also semi good friends with Buck in the sense that they're not overly close, but have found a good vibe, they're both first responders who probably use dangerous stunts as foreplay, they've both worked different kinds of jobs with the LAFD (Ravi was an instructor at the academy for a while, Lucy joined air-ops), they both had calls that made them question or struggle with their career (Lucy when she saved and caught that woman by accident, Ravi when he saved the guy who tried to kill himself and successfully killed his children), I got the impression they both come from big chaotic families, but also they'd just be like. Insanely hot together.
Ravi is giving strong "I love my bi wife" energy and Lucy would absolutely be Ravi's hype woman. They give me double income (with Ravi's landlording triple income?), no kids, ride or die, power-couple vibes. Ravi can bet his ass that Lucy will have his back and Lucy loves being close to the 118 gossip without having to interact with them directly. Do you see my vision?
