“give me that-” talia grabbed the bottle from the other and poured it down her throat. “the only way we’re getting out of this alive is if we’re shitfaced and disoriented so chug it down fast.” she wouldn’t usually condone drinking but being at a place where she felt so out of place- it seemed like the only logical thing to do. 

      “––  no,  really.”  smile  graces  lips  with  ease,  though  it  isn’t  unlike  that  of  a  shark’s  ––  sharp,  pointed,  poised.  “maybe  one  smack  on  the  head  and  then  we  start  beefing  ?  then  i  buy  you  dinner  ?”  henry  pauses,  tilting  his  head  in  faux  curiosity.  “if  i  kick  his  ass,  do  i  get  dinner  and  a  movie  ?”

their roommate dynamic was a bit of a strange one, junsu had to admit. sometimes, he wondered if he should be making more of an attempt to befriend the other as, well, they’d certainly explored other areas of one another that he had never expected to when deciding to live with the other. it was kind of nice though, this unspoken ‘okay’ between them but he figured it might also be nice to try to get to know each other a little. “did you eat yet?” he asked, the meal that made ( plenty for two ) in the pot. “i made some extra food if you want to join me.

 ‘  so  ,  i  heard  you’re  a  tutor  .  ’  despite  dokyun  being  a  tutor  himself  ,  he  wanted  to  make  sure  that  he  was  ahead  of  his  other  ‘  competitors  ’  .  he  wanted  to  learn  their  ways  of  teaching  and  try  to  implement  them  into  his  own  .  he  thought  it  was  a  good  idea  trick  to  learn  about  their  competitors  better  and  this  time  around  ,  sawyer  got  unlucky  that  he  happened  to  acknowledge  his  existence  .  ‘  i  need  a  tutor  .  may  i  know  what  subject  you’re  teaching  and  how  much  would  your  rate  be  ??  ’  a  smile  slowly  crept  upon  his  lips  in  slight  excitement  .  ‘  i  heard  you’re  good  so  i  am  interested  to  be  one  of  your  students  .  ’

                  eyes had been settled on the pair for what seemed to be hours , the toxins in his veins prompting a flurry of displeasure from the sight that he had been seeing . sure , they had broken up somewhat of five years ago -- -- a messy break up at that . they had both moved on , seen other people and developed as individuals themselves ; so why was the detection of them with another suitor something that baffled him ? nestled against the couch across the room , he’ll notice ex lover of his saunter off to another spot in the house , leaving their date vulnerable and alone . vision had been blurred from multiple cocktails that were divulged throughout evening , and before he could even blink ten more times ; wyatt was on feet and fists are clashing against the other’s face , instant spillage of blood . 

                    everything is loud, the place smells like something she can’t place, and there are way too many people that she can barely hear herself think. but it’s fine. she’ll be fine. as long as she sticks to her companion, she has nothing to worry about. hand wraps around their arm, pulling them towards her. “do you even really wanna be here? everything about this party screams ‘bad idea’ to me.” it wasn’t like iris was the epitome of propriety and good life decisions but events like this just weren’t her thing, and she doesn’t know that she should even be there. “and before you say anything, you’re gonna have to shout it at my face because i literally can’t hear shit.”
