β God, why can't it ever be the cute ones? β Cupid wiped their bloodied mouth with the back of their hand, only to smear more blood on their face. Below them, something that was once a man, nothing but gore && bones, the heart noticeably missing. Men were pigs, never knowing when to keep their hands off women who'd rather have them lying dead. So, they granted at least one woman's wish, but she'd run off the minute their claws had connected with the man's chest. She wouldn't call the cops, not working where she was, but god they wished they could have done something more, she'd been bleeding when she'd left. Immediately, they were alerted to another presence in near darkness, the figure only lit by the crappy XXX neon signs. Their eyes reflected in the light shined their direction. All they could do was stand their ground, spaded tail readied behind them, expecting a fight. (for Sai!!)
As much as Saikaku did to keep his workers safe, he couldn't be in multiple places at once, and even men thinking with their nether region could be sneaky.
When the cat's away, the mice come out to play, as the saying goes.
When the cat comes back home, however, it's time for reckoning, if the misbehaving mouse still happens to be around.
This doesn't just apply to his clubs, but to those working on the streets of the red light district as well. They're not 'his' technically, but it hardly matters to Saikaku.
So when a bleeding, terrified woman runs in his arms, sobbing and shaking, Sai is quick to wrap one arm around her in a comforting hug - the other goes to rest on the handle of the katana hidden among the folds of his silky clothes as he follows the woman as she tugs him in the direction so came from.
The sight that meets him isn't quite what he expected. A humanoid figure - a very pretty one, might he add - with their hands covered in blood, standing over the corpse of a man with his chest slashed open.
...well, that saved Saikaku some time, and money spent on dry cleaning. Blood is a bitch to get off of clothes.
The redhead still looks rrady to strike, and Saikaku approaches them carefully.
"Easy there, I mean no harm to you." Sai raises his hands to shows he's unarmed, then glances at the remains on the ground "If anything I should be thanking you, you've saved one of my own. So how about you follow me back to one of my clubs for a drink, while the cleaners take care of the trash?"
