His train of thought derails once Howard moved onto the new subject at hand. Especially focused on how nervous they seemed. Returning the comforting grasp on his mate.

"M..." Bram made no effort to mask the shock.

"Such a thing is possible between us in this age??" He almost sounded, desperate. Like the truth would break him if Howard were mistaken. Taking both of their hands in his Bram held them close to his chest. "Howard, I implore you, please tell me what I must do to make this a reality? I had assumed no worldly faith would grant us such a thing?"

The glint of silver and red from light off his old chest. Lovingly displayed in a place of prominence by their bed. "Howard..." Bram smiled even if tinted in melancholy.

"I never gave you a proper explanation of my gift." The crimson slipped back into the depths of the abyss where they belonged. Looking longingly at his mate.

"That crest was my pledge, my knightly vow. Its vow allowed me to be here today, revenge my people, meet you. But this age, they are gone. I gave it because I no longer wish to vow my soul to knightly duty,"

I was so slepy last night I wanted to be able to give Madi a proper thankies and reply! So here I am!

All you can have someone as amazing as Madi! Don't listen to anyone who says online friendships aren't real or any less real than your neighbors. They're better in so many ways! You can find people like Madi who you vibe so hard with that you'd never be able to find in a few mile radius around you. We don't even talk nonstop or even every day. Cause friendships like ours are based on so much more than just constant chatter.

So I'm definitely so so so blessed to consider Madi not just one of my best friends here, but in all the places! I would truly fight god for Madi!
