April 11 2017 - [⚠: murder-suicide, intimate partner violence] A SCHOOL teacher was feared ­murdered last night after her body was found at her home — two weeks after police launched a search for her. Church warden #KanwalBerniceWilliams, 50, had not been seen since Mothers’ Day weekend. Cops were investigating the possibility the mum-of-two was killed by her 49-year-old IT expert husband ­Lawrence before he took his own life. Both bodies were found at the family’s £500,000 detached farmhouse, with forensic teams scouring the scene. They are not looking for any other suspects. It is understood detectives were keeping an open mind and awaiting the results of post mortems into the deaths. Police refused to comment on whether their home in #Lutton, #Lincs, had been searched earlier during the hunt for the mum, known as Bernice. The ex-accountant had lived in the village ten years and worked at Sutton Bridge Westmere Primary. She was a warden at Lutton’s St Nicholas church. Leading tributes, parish council chair David Wilkinson said: “Mrs Williams helped with the flowers at the church flower festival and was a pleasant, smiley woman. It is hard to believe that this has happened.” Linda Harding, a fellow churchgoer who knew Bernice and her family, said “She was a genuine, quiet, sweet lady.
