If anything I think he blames himself quite a bit. So yeah, when a Ardyn gets mad at him he wont be mad at that because he, of course, expects it as what he has done, but I doubt it doesn't still hurt, if it hurt Somnus seeing Ardyn as he has imagined if he was actually a Shield in a sense for the both of them to a point and being like wow, I fucked up, I really fucked up
