Dear Diary,

Satsuki-san seems to be very interested in flowers. She seems to be very knowledgeable about them, too. I have not met someone else who has such a passion for flowers. It was nice to be able to talk about them with another person.

We spent the entire morning watering and trimming the roses. It was a significant amount of work to do, but Satsuki-san thought that it was fun. It made me wonder if she has any flowers at her home. She would certainly take great care of them. Perhaps I should buy her a potted flower.

Although, now I’m curious.

good ending..!With enough successful persuasion, Kuroha recruits Yoshiko to assist her at the clinic. Yoshiko is visibly uncomfortable and reminds Kuroha that she doesn’t have the proper training as a medical professional would but a researcher rather, stressing her lack of qualifications. Kuroha, well - aware, permits the worries to be vocalized but is calm when responding that they aren’t going to be judged by human patients and colleagues. Her underground clinic services ghouls, something she reminds Yoshiko that she knew quite a`lot of. Her experience researching and studying kakuja is also of interest to Kuroha. They work well in - sync, taking each other’s off-shifts so that ghouls who are in need during odd hours can drop by for a visit without concern. 

bad ending..!Both are standing, breathing heavily and their kakugan awaken with animosity. The sheer amount of crimes against humanity ( and crimes against ghouls ) perpetrated by the CCG / Washū / V cannot go unpunished. Kuroha still struggles with the fight considering how Yoshiko isn’t trying to fight back, tearing up surprising at the mess of it all. It isn’t enough, however, at this time. Cries will not undo the damage, so they begin again. Yoshiko holds her own without activating her kagune but with a long katana instead; Kuroha contemplates releasing her kakuja to end this brawl soon. Neither are fully immersed in their combat. Kuroha stops herself and asks again if Yoshiko wants to continue. The Washū stands in a pitiful position, her eyes averted and solemnly nods. It doesn’t convince Kuroha and she asks forcibly once more. Yoshiko stares straight and direct with her eyes still black and red. Less angry now, Kuroha notes to herself, and more confused and upset. Yoshiko admits, unnerved, that she feels that she’s at a dead end lacking a sense of what to do now. Kuroha then frustratedly asks why she’s fighting her to which Yoshiko responds that because she’s a ghoul, like Kuroha, “It’s eat or be eaten.. isn’t it.” Kuroha spits at this with a defiant huff saying that despite their obvious similarities, “..You don’t know. You’ve never known what it’s like outside of your own fucked up cage.”  Her last words are distorted as her kakuja then emerges to hide her mouth. Some time later, Yoshiko gasps laboriously when she appears out from the alley. She falls to her knees, apparently wounded. Yoshiko takes a few moments to get back onto her feet but stumbles, crashing into the alley’s edge. She leans against it for a moment before tucking her legs in, now facing the other side of the wall. Yoshiko then mumbles to herself how the night is eerily calm and cold. In another part of the city, Kuroha is sitting on the river bank of a park. She is wrapped in a blanket, wondering if her brother is well.

For the man, this was just another day. A day where he barely made any money and was dragging a bag with a few baked goods back to his “Place”. The place, in actuallity, was an Alley that was left mostly alone since it was already known for the junkies and gangs around the city that Piers have claimed it as his own. There were still some of them which didn’t learn the lesson, however, so Soldier was still ready with his hand on the holster as he turned the corner of the tight transition, only to find a woman there.

His muscles have tensed up more than the usual when he saw what awaited him. Teeth clench and tighten against each other, he wanted to forget about his food and go find another place to spend the night at, though he had to remind himself she was only a person. Fingers tighten around the bag, he avoids her eyes, her face, and trying to focus on the wounds instead. He reminded himself - she wasn’t different from a man. And she was not less likely to hurt him - but she was also not M O R E likely to.People are equally prone to attack and back-stab.

He could hear his parents finishing their conversation with the lady before turning to tell him goodbye, and leave. The boy waved at them before the door was to close, watching the red-headed woman locking the door after them. He played with his fingers before tucking them to the pockets of his hoodie, eyes wander up the older figure, as if waiting a command. He didn’t plan on being a bad kid, and he had a lot of respect for his elderst, but this was the first time he was left alone with someone that just wasn’t his parents.The suspicion could be seen obviuosly on his face.

1. I feel like Kuroha could really teach Haruka more about ghouls. Once she finds out that he has a connection with one, maybe she would start telling him little important facts and details that he doesn’t know yet. She could educate him more about how kagunes work or the healing process, stuff like that. Basically she educates him more on the ghoul world for his safety.

2. Haruka could absolutely come to see Kuroha as a mother figure. He hasn’t really had one in his life ever since his mom died, so she comes in and sort of fulfills that role for him. She gives him guidance and looks after him, and as they get closer he would probably start to feel really comfortable with her. Just being around her or simply hearing her talk makes him feel so much better.

Itwas her first time at Aogiri for Halloween, and she seemed absolutelydown. Not that he could blame her; she had come to them out ofnecessity, biting back pride to try and find somewhere, somehow tobelong. Before, she had much more than most other ghouls. She hadbeen lucky. But the world was cruel.

Andhe both empathized with and pitied her.

“Iknow you are still nervous about being seen, but you should get outsome. Come with me.” He had two shopping bags; one full of candy,and the others full of his specialty 'candy' for ghoul children.Sweets made out of body parts. Things to mimic normal human treats,wrapped in orange and purple and black plastic. “I'm going out to aneighborhood where ghoulsgather their children. Sometimes we have humans come by, but it'smostly a quieted-up movement. I try to do it every year.”Admittedly, it was somewhat humiliating to admit such a soft spot toa subordinate, but he was feeling kinder tonight.

Thelook that he received from Kuroha was full of question, confusion,suspicion….a whole handful of things. As if she couldn't wrap herhead around what he had just said.

“Andyou're inviting me.”

“Yes.Do I have to order you to come with me then?”

“No.But I don't have a costume.” She turned her head away from him,back to whatever work she was busying her with from before.

Tatara,a hint of irritation creeping into his voice, reached a hand down andtugged at the baggy fabric of his 'costume'; a set of full-bodypajamas fashioned in the shape of a dragon, complete with a hood withhorns perched on top. “This is hardly a costume, if you throw on alab-coat that's a bit torn up you could be a mad scientist. You needto get out.”

Shelooked up at him again, eyes steady and hovering on his figure, hisface, his costume. And slowly her expression changed to one halfwayof defeat, halfway to thanks. “Okay, fine. But only if I can haveone of your treats. They smell good.”

Hedidn't give a verbal response, only offered her a wrapped 'pastry'.His pleased, hidden smiletouched his eyes.
