Whaaaaat. Hands have nothing to do with it bro. You use the hook (if it's crochet) or the bobbins (if you're hardcore and can do bobbin lace which confuses the hell out of me and I'd need a teacher to learn). You can get small hooks with big handles if you're worried about your hand cramping up, but really hand size is totally a non-issue. You should give it a go! :D
