so you probably already have some idea I'm gunning for Bill being the other parent to the akupreg baby as crack- especially cuz Stanford won the last poll. It's like the cipher wives thing. (I sorta have an au where Bill previously did have many kids and has been a deadbeat the whole ass time and this is definitely going on my list of "people he might have had a kid with.")
rest assured bill is one of the 8 options i already have in mind
partially because the idea of bill knocking up two mpreg tournament winners (hopefully 🤞) in a row is really funny
and partially because "what if aku went to theraprism after dying" is what dragged me back into samurai jack, and there's something darkly funny in a "y'all are the most incompetent doctors in the multiverse" way about the thought of a couple of maximum security psych ward inmates accidentally getting pregnant
i think a bill/aku kid would be the most insufferable entity to ever exist. i never wanna meet that thing
it'd be funny if you drew aku at various stages of pregnancy as the polls progress. Like the first one could be him trying to figure out how the hell he's supposed to use a pregnancy test...?
on the one hand i like that idea as encouragement to keep voting for him.
on the other hand i fear that the end result will be that y'all never get a picture where he Actually Looks Pregnant because he'll be voted out before he's made it through the first trimester.
two rounds from now he's facing off against Gomez Addams. let's be real here. unless we can convince the Addams fans that Gomez himself would vote for the sentient embodiment of darkness and evil to produce spawn, Aku doesn't stand a fucking chance.
(and there's absolutely no way we'd be able to make that argument where sufficient people could see it before they'd slammed the vote button.)

sjffskshj god you guys are observant and I'm dense bc I absolutely have a bunch of really important Euclydian/English translation stuff planned out for later in the comic but did not even think for a second about the music needing to be translated. Oops.
So in this case I'm gonna say one of the bits Ford built for the sound system includes an autotranslator, so Bill is hearing the songs in Euclydian! (phew)
