since i'd watched op so long ago i didnt remember luffy wasnt roger's son when i first watched opla and i was like yeah that tracks like i fully believed it during my entire season 2 first watch then i got reminded but i have to say i think they did great with the misdirect bc if you dont think about it too deeply you're like of course he's roger's son!!! but then if you really pay attention you realize it doesnt really work. but i think for casual viewers and oplas only it will make ace's reveal even more fun like what do you mean luffy has a brother. what do you mean HE is roger's son. also wonder if they're gonna introduce sabo or at least include him in the story earlier, knowing they already cameo'd him 🤔
