...who you may know from his stint on Top Chef Masters (both as a judge and a contestant) or from his popular L.A. restaurants Father's Office and Lukshon.  But did you also know that before he became a chef he had a brief stint as a roadie for a pretty popular new wave band?  He also tells us about his Mom's amazing vinyl collection and how she wanted him to take her to see Def Leppard. We also manage to sneak in a bit of talk about his refusal to serve ketchup with, or make any substitutions to, the super famous hamburger at Father's Office, and then compare it to punk.
