Compared to many people recent events had left Augustus completely unscathed. Rue was fine and the twins had been through far worse making Halloween a distant memory by now. Unfortunately the same could not be said for many of his friends, including  Luís. Augustus never spoke about it to anyone other than Rue but Augustus understood loss, he also understood how it felt when a member of your family was missing. Wanting to be there for Luís Augustus managed to persuade the hunter to come out for a few drinks. “That girl asked me if you were single,” Augustus said to Luís as he returned to their table, “So I told her we were engaged.”
