This is one of my Searvii (a closed species on Instagram) named Ludwigia. This was for a Valentines Day contest to basically win a child. Also the one in the BG is Nyx and she belongs to Silentspectres on Instagram!
I really love my Searvii, need to draw them more 🥺
look at it! I'm so glad I got this ludwigia repens from my LFS. He must have had it in his tank for a good while because it is doing SO WELL. Sometimes when you order plants and they come in they melt or lose a ton of leaves because of the vast difference between the tank they came from and your tank.
The LFS guy uses local tap water, fertilizers and good led lights and no CO2 in his plant tanks (there's a couple that have CO2 but majority dont) and that's pretty much my own setup, so plants that have established themselves in his tanks do well in mine.
And this one is doing SO GOOD. lost maybe one leaf, no rot and it's putting out new leaves. A lot of time stem plants rot where the lead anchor is but this one isn't, which is really cool because that means the stems and roots are healthy a d adjusted.
I'm so happy.
