Is this moving your own goals forward or is this just to keep up with (someone else's) expectations? You have the ability to reach your goals and create an environment that holds you up instead. Keep that in sight because you'll have an opportunity to create something that meets *your* idea of beauty/success if you acknowledge where the negativity and obstacles are truly coming from. As you learn to quiet those influences, you may find that your opinion of your present changes. You'll be more open to not placing your surroundings in an unnecessary lesser or greater than competition with other people. Don't waste your energy keeping score because once the ball gets rolling, it's on you to keep yourself accountable and taking action in your own life.
