Iād mentioned last weekĀ that maxiās were my preferred style of dresses. I think itās because they give off a boho feel which Iād like to think is my personality. You know, chill and mellow. Whether or not thatās true I think Iām a little biased, but maybe if you knew me you would agree? I think you would;) I seriously believe I was a hippy in my past life.Ā
Thereās something so effortless yet glamours about wearing a long, flowy dress. While I kept if fairly neutral for this look, there was a time I styled it up with a bump. Do you remember? I canāt believe the last time wore this bohemian stunner was nearly a year ago?! Time flies, thatās for damn sure! Now there may be no bump but I sure do love the 7 pound butter ball that came home with me on that beautiful September day!
Maxi dresses also work perfectly for the mom lifestyle. Oh you didnāt know it was a lifestyle? Well it is and dressing the part is part of the gig. A mom must wear functional clothing, and while my role as a mother doesnāt rely on what I wear Iām a firm believe that style should never be sacrificed. So maxiās are mom approved, in these parts, for the fact that they hide unshaved legs and underpants.Ā
