Sorry, little confused here, do you mean how as in what I imagine the two are like together, or how as in “How did you get to shipping the two?”

I’ll answer both and post this instead of being private, since hnnn.

How I got to shipping them was actually something as simple as seeing artwork for the two. This was back when I knew next to nothing about the game and characters, I was only really aware of Hanzo and McCree thanks to McHanzo. While exploring a blog, I found this picture (Warning, Mild NSFW) by @trojan-merry-go-round. And my god it was just gorgeous.

It made me learn about those two as well and their characters, which ended up making me the Lúcio loving guy I am today. And the more I learned about their characters, the more I really thought they would click well, even if right now they have no in-game voice lines (Hell though, that didn’t stop McHanzo from skyrocketing to the most popular ship in the fandom.) Both have a sense of justice and right, though two different takes of it; Lúcio with idealization and the desire to empower people who need it most, 76 with cynicism and how, sometimes, to be a hero, you have to be labeled a villain.

76 has been through quite a lot of shit. He went from being one of the most idolized heroes on earth to becoming loathed due to rumors of the original Overwatch. He lost a good friend due to infighting. He effectively killed who he used to be. I thought someone like Lúcio would be good for him too, someone filled with optimism and confidence in bettering the world.

So yeah, that’s how I got to shipping Lúcio76. Now for how I ship them.

Simple answer, pure mush. I love thinking lovey dovey stuff with these two. Cute interactions, PDA, kisses and cuddles. But also domestic stuff like helping each other with chores, doing daily activities, or just having fun together. As I like to think, Lúcio makes 76 feel years younger, and gives him a happiness he hasn’t felt in a looooong time. And 76 is just completely infatuated with Lúcio, how happy he is, how that smile of his never wavers.
