Primo: Tea (Earl Grey, ho-💥🔫). He doesn't strike me as a big caffeine enjoyer, and I don't think he'd deign to ask for decaf, so maybe green. There's a kind of green tea called genmaicha that has toasted rice hulls, and it has this really comforting toasty flavor. I think Primo would like that; an ordinary tea that has just a little complexity. And...muffin. Banana nut.

Secondo: Espresso guy. When he goes for normal coffee, I think black (around other people) or con leche (by himself). I don't want to say biscotti for his treat because I don't want to give in to the Papas Are Italian fanon, but honestly? I think biscotti. He's got biscotti vibes.

Terzo, tragically, is definitely an espresso guy as well. When he gets himself a little treat (not often), I think he goes for a croissant. Almond croissant. Final answer. (Unless he's in Kraków ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°))

Cardi: Some kinda smoothie. I feel like Cardi is one of those guys who has a perfectly cromulent standby (say, strawberry-banana), but feels the need to not be "basic," and expand his horizons (derogatory). So he'll ask for a strawberry-banana, then "Actually, wait-" the cashier, panic, then pick a random smoothie flavor with shit he's never heard of. It's always a gamble and at least 2/3 of the time it ends with him looking longingly at strawberry-banana on the menu, haunted by regret 😔 Due to his smoothie-order-induced panic, he forgets to get a little treat most of the time, and also looks longingly at the pastry case 😔

You know, I actually met a guy at Burning Man who just. just fucking ate kiwis like an apple. Just didn't even care about the fuzz AT ALL, truly fascinating specimen of a man.

My first instinct was V, because That Boy Ain't Right, but then I started thinking...no, for some reason I think it's Cardi. I think Cardi would sit down, open the newspaper with one hand, and then just bite into a kiwi.

Ah, Terzo Alone, my beloved. It's been rotating in my mind palace for ages and it's still taking shape.

The gist of it is Terzo escapes after the coup and has to run the fuck away just to survive, and once he's had time to lick his wounds, he begins to plot. The Ministry had been undermining him the entire time, keeping him from his full potential, but now there's nothing to hold him back.

So he's gonna start his own damn Ministry.

He just needs a new flock. He hadn't taken full advantage of his position before, but he will now.

There's a little of Klaus from Umbrella Academy's season 2 arc, but what really got me fixated on the idea of Terzo being corrupted was this artwork by @osiiiris, which I want to stick in my ribcage so it's permanently against my heart:

Specifically, this got me thinking about how much of a fucking monster Terzo could have been. Terzo, who's so charming, so seductive and alluring, so personable and kind, could so easily have been a master manipulator, a corrupting influence, a user of everyone around him.

Maybe it was his compassion that kept him in check. Maybe it was that his self-loathing prevented him from sinking even further; his kindness his only redeeming quality. Who knows?

I might make him go full Jim Jones.

The Green Feeling

THE GREEN FEELING. It is one of the very first fics I started writing and it has been l a n g u i s h i n g.

I wanted to write a confessional fic, and a Secondo fic, and I wanted someone to confess something that wasn't lust to him, and so:
