Luce Unplugged with Black Hills
A concert series, Luce Unplugged invites local musicians to perform after staff-led art talks.
Black Hills is electronic pop music written, produced and performed by D.C.’s Aaron Estes. Estes explores a new direction from his classical piano training to combine synth pop and R&B in this solo project. Black Hills’ performance followed a staff-led art talk on a Luce Center artwork chosen by Estes.
The Luce Foundation Center of the Smithsonian American Art Museum is seeking proposals from local artists to lead hands-on demos in a variety of media. Following our other programs, the demos should relate to both your work and a piece on view in the Luce Center.
